Resonance has been producing fine a cappella choral music on California’s central coast since 2012. Presenting our main concert season every summer, when most musical ensembles in our area are on a hiatus, means we hold a unique place in the musical calendar of our community, and believe that great choral art should be available at any time of year. Since 2023, we have presented a beautiful Christmas concert in the barrel room of Steinbeck Vineyards & Winery, a new favorite ending to our season.

Resonance is built of quality, experienced singers from throughout the Central Coast of California, coming together twice a year to make choral magic. It is a truly special experience. We aim to create the highest level of art that one can expect from an “amateur” ensemble. As that word implies, we truly love what we do.

An important aspect of Resonance is a focus on recording. We pour many hard hours each year into ensuring our music lasts for future enjoyment. While live performance is the “mountaintop” experience to be sure, quality recordings allow you to revisit that mountaintop over and over again.
